Memorial website in the memory of your loved one
This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Teresa Del Rio who was born in California on November 08, 1978 and murdered on June 07, 1999 at the age of 20. We will remember her forever.

From the moment she was born, Teresa became the center of her parents’ universe, the one bright shining light that illuminated and enriched their lives. As a family they did everything together and as world travelers, the Del Rios always took their daughter with them, so that from the tender age of two, Teresa accompanied them to places other people only dream about. In Rome she witnessed a Papal mass. In France she saw Paris from top of the Eiffel tower and by the time she was 16, she had visited most of the leading museums in Europe, Mexico, Canada and the United States.

At home her parents exposed her to the arts and provided her with opportunities to experience the beauty of music and dance. As a youngster she performed in the Eagle Rock Recreation Center’s Ballet Folklorico, sang in the Glendale Lutheran Children’s Choir and played the piano. Since her parents were both involved in some aspect of the entertainment and broadcast industry, Teresa also had the opportunity to work as an extra in television and motion pictures. Among her credits were the “New Munster TV Series,: the music video for “The Faculty,” KHJ-TV “Children’s Christmas Special,: and a public affairs special “Infant Crib Death Syndrome.” Her major film credits included “Terminator II,” “American Me,” and “Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me.

Teresa was currently enrolled at Glendale Community College where she was pursuing an AA degree and had plans to transfer either to UCLA or San Diego State University to major in sociology. It was a goal she would never have the chance to achieve.
